Question

I'm trying to finish my taxes on e-file and I come to the healthcare part I get the Obama health care it's asking me all these questions and I have no idea I don't do anything for healthcare I just have an insurance card I don't understand what to do on that part

Hi Chroniccandy13,

If you have health insurance through an employer, then you probably do not need to complete the Marketplace Health Insurance (Form 1095-A) section.  Do you have a form 1095-A or get health insurance though the Marketplace?  If not, return to the, "Did you have health insurance from the Marketplace?" page and answer NO and continue your return.

If you do have a 1095-A, follow the steps in the Health Insurance section and enter your 1095-A.  If needed contact Support while signed into your account.

you will need your 1095A form if you have market place health insure ( Obama care) if you did not receive the form call  Market place and they will provide you the information over the phone
