Importing last years tax data

Question

I did a test and comparison of my 2024 tax return using FTU , H&R Block and TurboTax (Desktop versions only). Numbers matched which was good.

Could not do State since you have efile Fed and pay for State.

I filled with TT before I knew about FTU.

I may have to do another comparison after I efile with FTU just to make sure State numbers match. Will use H&R since it is cheaper than TT.

My question is this.

Even though I did not efile with FTU will my data (import) transfer over to next years (2025 tax year) filing?

Hi JLFTUFreeForum,

If you entered information (income, credits, etc.) in our 2024 software, yes, that information should carry over for you to next year. When you log into your account to file your 2025 tax return, any information that can carry over should do so automatically.
