Start over or override

Question

I have been guesstimating my 2025 taxes. (I know the software will be updated)

I came across the 1099-B section.

I noticed that there is a 1099-B Beta import of Consolidated 1099.

If and when the time comes to test this Beta will it override what I have entered?

If not, is there an easy way to remove or start over so that my manually entered 1099 data can be removed before I try the Beta?

Are there instructions to the 1099 Beta import? Possibly in the FAQ.

Hi JLFTUFreeForum,

Thank you for the questions.  No, it will not override what you have already entered.  An upload will create new records.

Once you upload a statement, it will generate a form record.  You will then need to delete those records if you do not want them and want to enter it manually.

Yes, there will be an FAQ. Or you can always contact customer support on your account.
