Response going to old email address

I changed my email address and I just got a response from RyanV.

His reply was sent to my old email address. It is the one that was used when I first posted a question on one of his posts.

My question is this.

If you change your email address shouldn't this change be made universally to all of my posts?

Note: my Profile shows my new email address.
