Can I claim a Credit on my Great Grand Daughters Childcare?

My Wife and I take care of Our Great Grand Daughter, while her Parents work… My Wife is retired I am not, we watch her 7 hours a day 4 days a week, is there some type of Tax Credit I can used? Thanks

    Hi Daman,

    I am sorry, there is not any sort of credit for caring for a grandchild. If you are paid to take care of her, you may want to report that income on a Schedule C and claim the expenses for caring for her. You may also claim a business expense for business use of your home.
