I went through the process of filing my state taxes (KY) just for FreeTaxUSA to tell me that I needed to print the papers and mail them into my state myself, but still required payment. Why am I being charged the $14.99 for KY if they aren’t doing the work?!

    Hello Rebecka,

    Most state tax returns can be e-filed, but there are some situations where you need to file by mail. Please contact Customer Support so they can look into this and see if there's a way to resolve the issue that is keeping you from being able to e-file the KY return.

    KY has transitioned to a new MyTaxes system, which could be affecting your ability to e-file (see https://revenue.ky.gov/pages/MyTaxes). The state has provided some workarounds for the new system that Customer Support can discuss with you after reviewing your account. Please reach out to them for advice tailored to your situation.

    same thought it was just me any updated was you federal accepted yet when that occurred?
