2210-k how to annualize KY income installment for estimated tax

I found a comment that this was not supported for 2024, but it is 2025 and it still looks the same.. so does that mean you still have not added annualized income so I can't use FreeTaxUSA to file KY taxes as I need that form completed (need to do part III on 2210-K to eliminate the estimated tax penalty due to most income being at end of year (Fed works fine), why is this not added yet?

Hi katw, I have looked into this and have been able to confirm that our software still does not support Part III of Form 2210-K for 2025. I apologize that we're not able to help you determine your state underpayment penalty based on the annualized income installment method.

Well that is not good… please get it fixed for next year.. it is very important and something I will need each year and will stop me filing state with you because I am not paying something I don't owe and makes your tax program WRONG.

Is there a way to work around it?

    Hi Katw,

No, there are no work arounds for this issue. You will likely need to use another tax service to prepare your 2025 return.

Each year we work on enhancing our software to support situations like yours. So there is a chance we will support it in a future year.
