My employer has placed my OT exempt wages in box 14. And then it asks if any of the wages on the W2 are for OT and if yes how much. Do I enter this same information again?

    Hello Reign,

"OT Exempt wages" in Box 14 of your W-2 typically refers to exempt overtime wages that are being reported separately for the new No Tax on Overtime Deduction. Sounds like your employer calculated the 1/2 time of 1 1/2 time for you. Enter this amount for the deduction on the page after the W-2 for Tips and Overtime.

    Employers may also enter:
    - OT Premium: Employer calculated the 1/2 time of 1 1/2 time for you. Enter this amount for the deduction
    - Total Overtime or FLSA Overtime (OT): You have to calculate the 1/2 time by diving the amount by 3.

I suggest that you read this Community article on how to calculate your Overtime Deduction.
