Is there a way for me to claim any of the money that I use for a living expenses while my daughter finishes her masters degree?

In order to claim any type of education credit or deduction on your tax return, the person for whom the qualifying education expenses were paid must be claimed as a dependent on your return.
Qualifying education expenses typically don't include room & board, but do include tuition, books, & other costs related to school. You can review the qualifications here:
