Does the Return Status Update Beyond Accepted?

My federal return was tagged as approved on the IRS site but it hasn't updated on this end.

Im mostly wondering how it's intended to work work in case I can use this site to reliably look after my NY status (the site is hard to get into, and the returns themselves have been weird for a lot of people this year).

    Hello Orion,

    We do not receive updates about your tax returns after they have been accepted from the IRS or the states. The best way is usually to check with the IRS's and state's websites.
