Confused on the pension annuity deduction

It auto filled an amount from my info input from federal. I'm unsure if it was accurate.

I have NYS retirement, social security and pension and annuities... I don't understand how it calculated and filled in exclusion amount.

    Can you explain the pension annuity social security deduction.…also how do I adjust it if it already has been filed

    Hi Longbranch,

    Some calculations flow from the federal return and information directly to the NY State return. There really is no way to adjust them. We do the calculations for you, making it simple and to avoid omission errors.

    I recommend that you contact Customer Support to have them review your account if you have questions relating directly to your NY return. That way someone can look at your account and assist you.
