What do you mean when you said "now I can't recover my account"?

Are you saying you can not open your 1040 when you try to log in?

That’s really frustrating 😩 First, double-check the SSN against the actual card, even one wrong digit will cause a reject. Try account recovery in a different browser or clear your cache; sometimes it’s just a glitch. If email isn’t working, check their Contact Us page for a phone number or try reaching out on social media, companies often respond faster there. Hope you get it sorted soon!

    Hello littlered_56,

We do not have a customer support phone number. Generally, you won't be able to use our tools to recover your account if your SSN was entered incorrectly, since we use the SSN to verify the account.

You can reply to/forward the rejection message you received by email, and our customer support team can see if there is anything we can do to help you gain access to the account.

If we are not able to help you gain access, then you will need to create a new account to file your return again. You can request a refund of any payment made in the account with the incorrect SSN that you cannot access so that you are not double-charged.
