Is anyone else having trouble signing in? Keep getting 404 Error
I have used FreeTaxUSA for several years, and love it. But today for the 1st time, I'm having trouble signing in. I keep getting a 404 Error when I sign in. I even changed my password as the site suggests, my signon is still the one I have always used (double checked), and I am still getting the 404Error message. Anyone else having this problem?
Waited an half an hour, and tried to sign in again. This time the message was "Whoops! Invalid/expired state token - I don't even know what that means???? Anyone have suggestions???

Hello, thank you for contacting Customer Support.
I'm sorry you're experiencing these sign-in errors. The "404 Error" and "Invalid/expired state token" messages typically indicate a browser session or cache issue rather than a problem with your username or password.
Here are steps that should resolve this:
1. Clear your browser cache and cookies - Go to your browser settings (usually the three dots in the upper right corner), find your browsing history, and clear your cache and cookies.
2. Try a different browser - If you're using one browser, try switching to Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge to see if that resolves the issue.
3. Use an incognito or private browsing window - This bypasses cached data and can often resolve these types of errors.
4. Go directly to www.freetaxusa.com - Don't use a saved link or bookmark, as these can sometimes cause issues. Type the URL directly into your browser and sign in from the homepage.
After trying these steps, you should be able to sign in successfully. The "Invalid/expired state token" message specifically suggests that your browser session data needs to be refreshed, which the above steps will accomplish.
If you continue to have problems after trying these solutions, please contact Customer Support and they will be happy to look into it further.0
