Is FreeTaxUSA going to provide eFile Options for professionals to transmit RITA returns for City/Local taxes?

Attention Software Developers

All software vendors and products must register annually. Please submit one or both of the following forms: Tax Year 2025 RITA Form 37 MeF Application - Individuals Tax Year 2025 RITA Form 27 MeF Application - Businesses. Only software products approved by RITA may be used to create and transmit RITA returns.

    Hello CG71065_AOL,

    Thank you for the question. At this time, we support a few states that have the option to e-file a city or local tax return. RITA (Regional Income Tax Agency) tax return refers to Ohio local returns from what I found on the web.

    We currently support:
    Ohio School Districts - SD100
    Michigan - Detroit and city returns
    New York - New York and Yonkers taxes, which are part of the New York State return.

    Thank you very much for the info, MatthewD. I will continue watching to see if RITA city tax filing in Ohio gets implemented.
