City taxes?

in Filing my taxes

This is my 2nd year using this application. I notice that it only mentions FEDERAL and STATE taxes. But never CITY taxes. When I used a preparer they always processed city taxes. Hope I'm not confused. Can anyone help?

    We support a few city returns. Like Detroit and other Michigan cities and Ohio School Districts. Our software primarily supports federal and state filings only. 



    However, it is not uncommon for cities or municipalities to offer their residents an online portal where their residents can prepare and file their city/municipality tax, and we can offer our customers some general advice on how best to accomplish such filings. Because it appears you may use our software for the current tax year, consider starting a chat with one of our Support agents and see what advice they can offer you about filing your city/municipality tax.
