Hi,

I entered my payment information for Georgia taxes to be auto-deducted on the 15th of April, 2026 and submitted as e-filed.

Can this be modified after e-filing on freetaxusa.com so I can pay in installment?

Also, what process steps I follow on freetaxusa.com. I have printed and filled the GA-9465 form "Installment Agreement Request" which I can mail but don't want automatic deduction to also trigger.

    Hello Rehan,

I would recommend that you contact Georgia's Department of Revenue to cancel your payment. Once your return has been accepted, FreeTaxUSA cannot change or update your payment information.

I would also recommend that you do the payment plan through Georgia's DOR once you have canceled the original payment. You can do so in the link below
