how to pay NYS tax

in State Filing

I filed my state taxes through you guys and it's saying to go the new york website to pay what i owe with a card however there is that website is saying i have no bills or notices to pay so i cannot pay them. How do i proceed?

    Hello iulava36,

    NY State has a specific website if you received a bill or notice from the state to pay.

    However, you can still pay NY state taxes without receiving a bill or notice from the following state website:
    https://www.tax.ny.gov/pay/ind/pay-income-tax-online.htm

    If you want to pay by a debit card or credit card, or directly drafting a bank account, you will have to create a NY state account log in.

    If you want to pay by check, there is a payment voucher you can create and use to send along with your check payment.
