Green Dot account showing

I see my refund has a green dot account and i’ve never in my life have had an account with them. I’m not sure why this information has changed but how am I supposed to receive my refund? I also click show bank account information and it shows green dot card which I never manually out into my information. I have used free tax usa for years and I have never had this issue and i’m not liking this one bit.

    Hello CheerMom101,

    If you have selected to pay for our fees using your refund, a third-party bank processes this for us. A temporary bank account is set up with Civista Bank, a division of the Santa Barbara's TPG group(owned by Green Dot). This bank account information is printed on your federal and state return and e-filed to the IRS and your state along with your direct deposit information. The IRS and your state will deposit your refund into the temporary bank account, our fees will be extracted, and the remainder will be deposited into the direct deposit account you provided.
