hello I unfortunately do not have the funds to pay my return at the moment. My due date is on April 15. Is there a penalty for late payments? Can I pay late? I apologize for the inconvenience.

Do you mean pay what you owe the IRS? Or to pay FreeTaxUSA to file your return? They have a pay with your refund option, but that won't work if you owe the IRS. @Sss

I paid my return now I owe the Federal tax payment. But I might be late .

I found this article in the community, looks like you might have some options. @Sss , better that you filed it sounds like you're on top of things. Hopefully something in here helps.
