efile 2022 amended return deadline

Today is April 14th. My tax accountant just tried to efile my 2022 amended tax return but her system wouldn't allow her to. Did anyone else run into this? Is the only option to mail the tax file via USPS?

    I believe the IRS only accepts e-filing for the current year and the two prior years, so that may be why it didn't work. If you're going to be receiving a refund, you need to have it mailed by tomorrow. You should send it certified with a return receipt requested and tracking so you can prove it was mailed before the statute of limitations expires.
