don’t trust them. I called the IRS this morning and verified my refund and they stole over $600 from it.

More info needed to prove what your are saying.

Did you compare your saved 1040 PDF and what was in your IRS online account to see where the difference is at?

Were you supposed to get a refund and you chose to have it deposited into a Debit Card?
Something I would never do. Direct Deposit is the only way I would want to receive my refund.
Doing this might have cost you a fee, too.

yeah they stole from me too. Changed my direct deposit information on my 1099 to theirs and the IRS already released the funds to them and they just kept the entire 4,000 dollars. Total rip off

they told me I wouldn’t have to pay any extra fees but since my state does state taxes they made me pay them 15 bucks. I used the pay with my refund method and never regretted anything more. Called Santa Barbara tax groups and they said they sent everything out in the beginning of April in the form of a check??? I never wanted my return in a paper check, and everyone’s sending me in circles for MY MONEY. FreeTaxUSA is a scam don’t use their services if you pay state taxes. They even went as far as changing my bank information on my 1099 to theirs.
