Signature date

When Filing a "corrected" … not amended tax return what date do I put on the electronic signature page? It automatically populates 03/05/2026 which is the original filing date.

That section says : Todays date: so should I change it to this date 04/15/2026. Not sure since its a corrected return and not an amended.

It lets me put either date it but I don't want it to get rejected again.

    If you are filing a return that was originally rejected, then you should put today's date as the signature date. It's the date you are signing and filing.
