I need to complete section A of form 8283 . There is room for only 5 entries (a-e). I have 30 seperate contributions to enter. Do I need to complete 5 seperate forms of 8283? The form says to include a statement if more room is needed in this area. I do not know whar they mean by "a statement.

Hi rufus,

You can enter all of your noncash contributions in the 'Donations' section of the 'Income' tab. If needed, we will generate the statement for you.

If you are filing by hand, you can still generate the form in the software to see an example of a statement if you'd like. You'd just need to create an account and continue to the 'Donations' page to enter some contributions. Once you have done that, you can select the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the page to see your return and the statement we generated. (You may need to continue through a page or two till the 'Preview Return' option shows up in that menu.)
