Does anyone know if someone can review my past tax reports? I was young and had my parents tax guy submit them, and he ever submitted 2022, and now I feel like I cant trust my past tax submissions, and when I review them on the IRS screen, it do not understand it enough to make sure it was submitted. Could my tax person just review my tax filings for me? Do you know if I use the tax support here on FreetaxUSA, they could do a review audit for me?

Hi Victoria202, we can help you prepare a tax return, but we aren't able to review returns that were previously filed elsewhere. Your best option is probably to find a local tax professional you can meet with in person and ask them to review your prior returns. That way you can provide them with your original tax forms and supporting documents, which will allow them to help determine whether anything needs to be corrected.
To verify whether the IRS has a record of a return:
1. Go to the IRS “Get your tax records and transcripts” page: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
2. Sign in to, or create, your IRS Individual Online Account.
3. View or download the Tax Return Transcript or Tax Account Transcript for the year you’re checking.
4. Review the records for 2022 and any other years in question.
The IRS says its online account allows you to view, print, or download tax transcripts and other tax records. If the IRS doesn't show a record for a particular year, you can also request a verification of non-filing letter through the same service. A transcript confirms information the IRS has processed, but it may not include every page of the complete return, so if you have your own copy of the previously filed returns, it may be helpful to provide those for the professional’s review.0
