I am an international student I would like to know if I can file taxes for my tuition if I pay 3000 each semester and How can I do it?

    Hello SiadG,

    Generally, if you are a nonresident with an F1 VISA, you cannot claim the Education Credits, even if you have a 1098-T. However, if you are married to a US citizen or a resident spouse and you file a joint Form 1040, you may claim the credit.
