I been wondering if I can still claim or get the first stimulus check

Yes, you can. To claim the first payment, file a 2020 tax return. You'll claim the payment as a credit on that return. It's too late to e-file that return, but you can still print and mail it in for processing.

Please note that refunds expire three years after the due date of the original return. As that's the case, you'll need to file a 2020 tax return before the end of 2023 to claim that stimulus payment as a refund.

Yes, you should still be able to claim it. According to the IRS, you have until May 2024 to claim it for the first and second EIP/stimulus checks. The third stimulus check needs to be claimed by April of 2025. You just need to file your 2020 tax return.
