My daughter just turned 18 and has a part time job. My ex-husband and I take turns claiming her so 2023 is my year to claim her. I need to know how to claim her even though she works part time.
To claim your daughter, you'll simply add her information to the 'Dependents' section of our program.
You will NOT report your daughter's income on your return. Instead, she'll file a separate return for herself with the IRS. When she does, she'll need to indicate on that return that she's being claimed as a dependent on another tax return.
She'll only need to file a tax return if she meets IRS tax filing requirements. You can check to see if she does here:

Whether she needs to file a return or not, you will not report her income on your tax return.
