Foreign income from multiple countries

I have $1000 in foreign taxes which comes from foreign income in multiple countries, some via RIC and some not. I would like to take the foreign tax credit.

How do I enter that in the "Tell us more about your foreign income" page? There's only room for a single country as the income source, and only a single choice as to whether it's a RIC or not.

At this time, our software only supports reporting foreign taxes paid to a single country or an RIC, but not multiple countries along with an RIC. If you need to report foreign tax paid to multiple countries, you will, unfortunately not be able to file using our software. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Is this still the case in 2025? Is there any way to work around this limitation with FreeTaxUSA? Not only did I already pay for FreeTaxUsa, but I also spent a lot of time inputting all of my information. This was the last thing on my list to take care of, and now I have to buy other software and start all over from square 1?

I am in the same boat as stellarnomad. Pretty frustrated right now, and I was able complete/file this section just fine last year (it provided an option of "Other countries") with FreeTaxUSA so I'm surprised it seemed to have lost previous functionality.

Actually, I just went back to the dropdown and notice that there is an "Other country" option still listed so I am going with that. I was previously looking for "Various" or "Multiple" or "Unknown". I am no tax expert but I think "Other country" is fine too in this case.
