Required work shoes

My employer requires me to wear a certain type of shoe at work. I do not wear these outside of work. Where do you deduct these for a W-2 employee?

Unreimbursed Job expenses are no longer available for most employees since the Tax Cut and Jobs Act. You can see if you fit into one of the four categories of employment here, under Unreimbursed Employee Expenses (most do not): https://www.irs.gov/publications/p529

If you do fit into one of those categories, you can enter it by going to Deductions / Credits → Employee Business Expenses.
