in State Filing
My company allows me to work from another country for a few months.
I moved to another lower-tax state (to my family's house) in October for a month and then left the US in November until the end of 2023.
I didn't tell my employer about the one month in another state.
Is it okay for me to file taxes in both states, or do I need to file in only my main state?

Hello,
Generally, in situations like your you should file two part-year residence state tax returns and pay taxes to each state for the income earned while living in that state.
