Why did I get charged $40 and it tells me I have to file though paperwork

    Hello,

    Our fees are charged for the preparation of your state tax returns and other service products. We do not charge a fee to e-file your tax return. E-file is free if you qualify. In some cases, you must mail in your tax return.
