Good morning,

At what point and where do we enter our parking fsa deductions? Apologies if I have missed it, but I do not see a mention of it in the forms.

Parking is only deductible for certain types of employees: Armed Forces reservist, Qualified performing artist, fee-basis state or local government official, or an employee with impairment-related work expenses.

If you are one of those employees, you can enter your parking by selecting: Deductions/Credits>Employee Business Expense.

  • If you are entering a Schedule C for self-employment or a business, you can enter parking fees under the Vehicle Expenses screen as you go through the Schedule C. You can find the Business Income (Schedule C) screen(s) under the Income menu. You'll want to make sure you keep a good record of your parking fees if you deduct them.

Thank you for the reply! I meant as an employee themself, where would I enter what I put into my parking per year? Or is this automatically calculated differently?
