I'm confused about how to enter the Box 14 amounts from my W-2.

First, the program asks me to enter the description and amounts (e.g., NJ SDI, NJ SUI EE, NJ FLI), so I enter all three with their respective amounts. Then, on the next screen, it asks again for the same things:"If any State Disability Insurance (SDI) was withheld from your wages and is shown in Box 14 of this W-2, enter the amount:""If any State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) was withheld...""If any Family Leave Insurance (FLI) was withheld..."

Am I supposed to enter the amounts in both screens? Or just the second one? I don't want to double-report the amounts.

  • Hi djfer,

Yes, enter the amounts on both pages. Let me explain why. On the first W-2 page, with all the boxes, it is possible your box 14 will have amounts that are combined. So we ask again to get specific exact amounts.
