    It's good to know that it is available.
    Thanks.

    Is there anything new or enhancements to the software that we should look out for?

    For example forms that were add because of the new tax regulations.

    Logged in. No problem. Will check it out.

    But still would like to know about anything new before I continue.

    Also wondering if FreeTaxUSA has included the ability to grab 1099's from Financial Institutions.

    Glad you found the Beta for importing 1099s- it's one of our new features this year. I don't have a comprehensive list yet, but here's 2 of the new features. I'll keep this thread updated as I find out more.

    -Imports for 1099-R, Consolidated 1099, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B should be available. We are also also working on adding importing ability for 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC but we don't have a firm timeline for those yet.

    -When it's time to file, some users may also have the option to pay with Apple pay or Google pay.

    @RyanV

    Has there been any other new features that have been added to the 2025 tax years software?

    Are the any videos on the importing of the 1099's especially the Consolidated 1099 ones?

    Good question. We will be releasing an article in the next week or two that has more comprehensive detail on these features. From my understanding, here's what is new this year, but check the upcoming article for official updates.

    • Expanded 1099 importing capability: Users can now import various 1099 forms such as 1099-R, 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-DA, and Consolidated 1099s using multiple file formats and even phone photos for certain forms.
    • Updates for One Big Beautiful Bill Act compliance: The software reflects permanent tax changes from the OBBBA including lower income tax rates, higher standard deductions, expanded child tax credits, and new deductions for seniors, overtime pay, and more.
    • Support for new crypto tax form 1099-DA: FreeTaxUSA now supports importing the IRS's new 1099-DA form, designed for reporting digital asset sales, easing tax reporting for cryptocurrency users.
    • User interface improvements: FAQ content is now accessible via a new side menu for easier reference during filing.

    Our team is always working hard to make sure you get the best tax filing experience. Let us know what features you'd like to see added next!
