When can I file for 2025?
I'm hoping for a decent refund this year. When is the soonest I can file? And when would my refund come? Thx.

You can go ahead and file your return now. The IRS doesn't start processing returns until the end of this month, so the soonest you may receive your refund would be early February (as long as there are not any other issues with your return).
However, if you are claiming the Earned Income Credit (EIC/EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), the earliest you can expect the refund would be the beginning of March, no matter how early you file. This is due to the Path Act that has been in place for years now.
