Can I file my Federal taxes on FreeTaxUSA without filing State tax

    Of course.

    But depending on the state you're in, any other system that you may want to use your Federal return as a starting point. So it could mean extra work.

    Does your state offer its own online free filing?

    Hello Bosco1066,

    You are not required to file a state return. The software has you go through it, but when you are on the Order Products screen, you should be able to remove it from your order and proceed with just your federal return.

    You can come back and add a state return if you wish later on.
