Mileage question about 'date placed in service'

I got a 1099 NEC, freetaxusa is asking for my vehicle that I won "Date placed in service.

Enter the date you purchased the vehicle unless you owned the vehicle before you started the business. For example, if you started your business on July 7, 2024 and started using your personal vehicle for business on August 10, 2024, you would enter 08/10/2024 as the date placed in service.

But I purchased this vehicle, brand new MANY years ago, before this business. So it should let me leave "Date placed in service" blank right? But it won't. What do I put for "Date placed in service"? When I purchased the car from the dealer many years ago?

    If you had the vehicle before you started the business/service, then just use the date you started using your vehicle for the business/service. If that was the very first day of the business/service, then use that date.
