has anyone efiled an amended return and how long did it take to process your return?

    Hello Prtty36,

    The IRS officially says that amended returns should take about 8-12 weeks but that they can take up to 16 weeks on occasion. Once you have amended your return, you should be able to check on the status here: https://www.irs.gov/filing/wheres-my-amended-return
