The time it takes to receive your state tax refund varies, but as a general rule, you can expect it within 30 days of the e-filing date, if accepted. You should receive confirmation within 48 hours. Choosing direct deposit to receive the refund will generally be the fastest way to receive the refund. To check the current status of your state refund visit your state's tax website.

I chose to deposit my federal and state refund using the go bank card..i have the card..my nc state return said send to bank account i chose..when can i expect to see deposit

Since you used Pay with Refund, your NC state refund is first sent to Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG) rather than directly to your GoBank card. Once SBTPG receives the funds, they deduct any applicable fees and then deposit the remaining balance to your chosen account. This process typically takes 1-2 business days after SBTPG receives the refund from the state.
You can check the status of your disbursement directly at https://taxpayer.sbtpg.com/login to see if SBTPG has received and processed your state refund yet.
