I am on F1 OPT visa. I have an SSN and I opened a savings account with a bank that only files W9. NRAs should file a W8 BEN. Is it okay to keep it open or should I close it?
I get W-9 (venmo) for taxes - whats best way to file? Last year when I filed - it was way more than I expected. I know I am new to this - so any advice would be amazing. I did buy a new/used car this year will that help with offset of taxes owed?
