Help!! I need to know how to amend my 2023 and 2024 tax returns!

I need to know how to amend my 2023 and 2024 tax returns through free tax USA from married filing separately to married filing jointly as I did it wrong those two years. I did not file through free tax USA. I need to know the steps and process because it's honestly super confusing. I'm not sure if I just file the way I meant for Those years emmediatly or file it exactly how I did last time and then how I need it now. It's super confusing please someone help.

    You will need to recreate one of your original filed separate returns in our software for each year you wish to amend. I'm going to include a link that goes over it with more details.

    Only one amended return per year is filed. The IRS automatically removes one of the Married Filing Separate returns. If you are listed first as the primary taxpayer, the IRS will remove your spouse's separately filed return. Once you start the amendment, you will then add the spouse's information so you can file that joint return.
