Should I file a Form 1040-X for 2024 Taxes?

After filing my 2024 income tax, an insurance company where I have Annuities decided they should have filed interest for my Annuities as 1099-1099-OID rather than 1099-1099-INT. Do I need to file a form 1040-X so that my filing matches theirs? The amount of interest is exactly the same on both versions. The insurance company says I don't need to file 1040-X but I have received the 1099-OID and they failed to mark it as "corrected."
