Multiple 1099-SA
How can I enter in multiple 1099-SA forms. I have amounts in box 1 for both forms. Do I add the amounts and put it in when it asks for box 1. Where do I enter in earnings on excess contributions for 1099-SA. I saw that on free tax usa it didn't ask for box 3 or box 4 is that ok? One of my forms has a normal distribution and one is excess contributions. Let's say first 1099-SA normal distribution has box 1 as 100 dollars and box 2 as 0. The second 1099-SA excess contributions has box 1 as 200 dollars and box 2 as one dollar. How can I input this? I saw somewhere that you should add these amounts and put total hsa distribution as 300 and then answer no for this Did you use all of the HSA distributions for medical expenses. If i put in Amount Used for Medical Expenses as 100 then my tax goes up by a lot but I'm pretty sure I'm only supposed to be taxed on that 1 dollar. All I know is for everything in HSA I've used for medical expenses. So not sure what numbers to put in where.

I have the exact same problem. I can't figure out how to enter two 1099-SAs in the program. I believe they should be entered separately due to the different distribution codes on the forms; one 1099-SA is for normal distributions for medical expenses, and another is for return of previous year's excess contributions.
