hi - I’m 20 years old and I already filed my 2024 taxes, and I owe money to the government . I checked the box that someone else (parents) can claim me on their taxes, but I found out later when they went to file , that I can’t be claimed as a dependent bc my gross income exceeded $5,050. What do I do ??
I checked my refunds and my state has issued my state refund on the 13th of February and still haven't seen it. Where is the state refund? I know they take out the fees but still should have already been deposited into my account.

My refund was rejected

My husband forgot a 1099 and now we have to amend. The freetaxusa website says to try at a later date. When is that?
Thank you in advance for the help. This was my first year overpaying on Social Security tax. The situation is that I have a full-time job and a part-time job. In my full-time job at or around November 2024 Social Security tax quit being taken out of my paychecks. However, I continued to work once or twice a month from Nov…
